We do not have specific GPA or course requirements for our pre-clinical programs in Kenya and Peru. However, we seek candidates who thrive in dynamic, high-pressure, team-based environments. Ideal applicants should demonstrate strong academic performance, leadership experience, and a consistent commitment to serving underserved communities locally and internationally.
While prior clinical experience is not required, it is highly beneficial, as it allows interns to gain a comparative understanding of different healthcare delivery systems. We also place a high value on cultural competence, adaptability, and resilience in prospective interns.
