IMA presents Midwifery Internships under the guidance of midwives, nurses, physicians, PAs, and other healthcare experts. We partner with a vast public and private healthcare facility network, enabling community health while gaining practical experience.

Midwifery interns will collaborate with experienced midwives and obstetricians in hospitals and birthing centers worldwide. They will assist in different tasks such as:

Delivering essential maternal health services to underserved communities, IMA’s Midwifery Internships allow participants to gain meaningful clinical experience while exploring vibrant cultures and landscapes across East Africa, South America, and the Caribbean. We additionally offer optional travel programs that allow interns to explore the beauty of their host countries. From mountain hikes to beach excursions and cultural tours, these trips are organized by trusted guides and are not included in the internship fee.
