To apply for an IMA program in Peru, candidates must have at least two years of Spanish language experience, either through formal coursework or equivalent exposure. Fluency and Spanish-language certificates are not required, but students should be comfortable with basic Spanish comprehension, as only some medical professionals in Peru speak English.
