IMA Pathfinder™ is a free admissions tool from International Medical Aid. It looks at your academics and your experience together and turns them into a personalized report.
Step 1: Choose Your Track

Step 2: Enter Your Academic Profile
College tracks: cumulative GPA, science GPA and MCAT score, plus optional GPA by year (freshman to senior) and post-bacc GPA.
High school track: unweighted GPA, weighted GPA and your number of AP, IB or honors courses.
You will also choose whether you are applying to MD schools, DO schools or both, your state of residency and when you plan to apply.

Step 3: Add Your Experience
Enter your clinical hours, shadowing hours, research hours, volunteering hours, leadership and whether you have completed or are interested in an IMA Global Health internship.
Step 4: Unlock Your Report
Enter your first name, last name and email (phone number is optional) to see your full report. Each email address can have one report on file. If you see "This email already has a report on file," use a different email address to run a new assessment.
What Your Report Includes
Your IMA Index and tier: a tier label such as Elite, Competitive or Developing, or a readiness score on the high school track.
Acceptance estimates: separate estimates for MD and DO programs (college, MCAT taken track).
Your school list: schools grouped as Safety, Match, Ambitious Match and Reach, with notes such as a strong in-state preference.
Gap analysis: the parts of your profile to strengthen next, with recommended resources.

Is IMA Pathfinder free? Yes. You enter your name and email to unlock the full report, and no payment is required.
Is my score a guarantee of admission? No. Your IMA Index and acceptance estimates are planning tools. Admissions decisions depend on each school's full review of your application.
Can I update my report with new numbers? Each email can have one report. To run a new assessment, use a different email address or contact us.
